A founder of Professional Law Partnership “Matuizaite and Partners”, lawyer Dr. Eglė Matuizaitė started her lawyer’s practice in 2001 at A. Matuiza and E. Matuizaitė law office. In 2008, in expansion of activities of the law office, she established a law office called the Matuizaitė and Partners, in 2016 – Professional Law Partnership “Matuizaite and Partners”, which renders legal services to business and private Clients in Lithuania and abroad.

In order to help the Client to the greatest extent, we collaborate with the companies of accounting, auditing and business consulting, as well as bankruptcy administrators, law offices in Latvia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and other foreign countries. We are an official user of state and private databases, in accordance with the procedure laid down by legal acts, we are entitled to obtain an expeditious and up-to-date information from the registers and databases of real estate, legal entities, mortgage, property execution, transport, etc.

In our activity, we take an obligation to duly execute orders of the clients, by following the highest standards of both professional activity and lawyer ethics. We are certain that this is the only way we could obtain best activity results, acquire customer confidence and ensure a long-term cooperation.

Lawyer, Dr. Eglė Matuizaitė

In 2000, Eglė Matuizaitė graduated from Vilnius University Faculty of Law, where she acquired the lawyer’s qualification, and started as the lawyer’s assistant. In 2001, E. Matuizaitė became the lawyer and worked at A. Matuiza and E. Matuizaitė law office. In 2007, Eglė Matuizaitė defended her doctoral thesis of law in social sciences at Vilnius University Faculty of Law, entitled “Origins and development of advocacy in Lithuania”. She has been granted the doctoral degree. In 2008, Eglė Matuizaitė established the Matuizaitė and Partners law office, in 2016 – Professional Law Partnership “Matuizaite and Partners”.

The major practice areas of Eglė Matuizaitė – contract law, company law, insurance law, transportation law, construction and real estate law, representation in pre-trial disputes and in the court.

Eglė Matuizaitė has been granted a status of court mediator, she is enrolled into the List of Court Mediators and included into the List of Arbitrators recommended by the Lithuanian Court of Arbitration.

Eglė Matuizaitė has lectured at Vilnius College/University of Applied Sciences the disciplines of law and insurance law, made presentations in the conferences of Lithuanian lawyers, LJAA and Lithuanian Bar Association, conducted training to companies on the following topics: “General principles of construction contract conclusion and implementation”, “Issues on representing legal entities”, “General principles of contract conclusion and implementation”, “Fundamentals of contract preparation”, “Judicial ways of defending the creditor’s interests”, “Work with the debts, debt collection in Lithuania and abroad”.
